A quick question – What are your dates?
I’m looking on http://www.kayak.com, in Canadian Dollars (assuming your Canadian – flying out of Toronto) and im finding flights as low as $1100.
Kayak compares all of the flights and all of the travel booking websites to find the cheapest prices. Ill check back to see if you have posted more details !

There is a good chance that the longer you wait, the higher the prices will go. Many airlines offer advance purchase discounts. If you wait until right before your trip you will likely end up paying a LOT more.

Usually when you book in advance the price you pay is pretty good, BUT dont book to far in advance without insurance on your ticket because if the flight is canceled for weather issues or the airline goes out of business im pretty sure you won’t get your money back.

I am going to give you the only piece of advice that was given to me for finding cheap travel deals, and it works to this day… Compare as many travel websites as you can as often as you can. Since you have a few months, start searching today and search the flights or hotels or whatever you need every week until the month before you are going. If anything is unusually cheaper, book it on that date. I would definitely recommend checking out the website BookMe. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites from one location, and save tons of money. Good luck and check out the link below, and you will be all set.
