Return products run $28.0 (R456), $29.4 (R480) and $31.7 (R516) on the same bands. Gates take a contactless bank card directly; the dedicated Gautrain Card costs $1.29 (R21) with a minimum $2.33 (R38) load and makes sense only if you plan more train trips later in the stay — the getting-around page covers the wider network.

What the operator does not print

Two gaps in the official material are worth knowing before you plan tightly. The operator publishes no platform-to-platform journey time for the airport line — the frequently repeated fifteen minutes is a wide citation we could not verify against an official page, so this page does not print it as fact. The routine, point by point. Keep valuables in your carry-on rather than checked luggage, so nothing worth stealing rides where you cannot watch it. Arrange pickup in advance where you can; a driver holding a name board in arrivals is the single calmest thing in the hall.
